Frequently Asked Questions
Quality, Materials and Made in Italy
What is meant by 100% natural fiber knitwear?
100% natural fibers means that each of our garments is made exclusively with yarns of plant origin, such as cotton, or derived from fleece, such as cashmere and wool.
This guarantees perfect thermoregulation, very high breathability, and a comfort that only nature can offer. Natural fibers are the most ecological choice. In fact, unlike polyester and nylon, which are derived from petroleum, these fibers come from renewable resources found in nature, are completely biodegradable, and do not release microplastics during washing.
These natural fibers ensure a healthier product life cycle for you and the environment. We do not use synthetic fibers, such as acrylic, polyester, or polyamide.
Where is your knitwear produced?
Our entire production is located in Italian artisanal districts. Every phase, from the stylistic sketch to the weaving, up to the hand finishing, takes place in Italy.
We have chosen to operate according to a philosophy of a short and sustainable supply chain: knitting and hand finishing take place in Italy, but every element of the garment is also created within a few kilometers of our workshops.
This proximity is a concrete ecological commitment in terms of emission reduction, as shortening the distances between suppliers allows us to drastically reduce the carbon footprint related to transport, and in terms of territorial enhancement, as we collaborate exclusively with local workshops that have been passing down the art of knitwear for generations, ensuring rigorous ethical standards and quality that lasts over time.
How are your yarns selected?
We select the best raw materials from the most important Italian companies.
We choose fibers that respect the environment and animals and that possess international quality certifications.
Do the fibers you use have quality and ethical certifications?
Regarding cotton, we exclusively use 100% Superior Cotton, sourced from a prestigious Italian company with rigorous standards: the chosen fiber adheres to the Cottonforlife and Better Cotton programs, ensuring responsible water management and support for farming communities; the yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified and complies with ZDHC protocols for the absence of harmful chemical substances.
These garments are produced using materials that protect the environment, labor ethics, and your health.
Our yarn selection is a dynamic process that follows technological innovation and the highest standards of environmental responsibility.
We are committed to constantly updating this section and integrating new specific certifications based on the cutting-edge fibers and processes we will introduce in our future collections.
Every new collaboration with the best Italian yarn producers will be selected according to the best criteria of ethics, traceability, and respect for the environment. Our goal is to combine Italian manufacturing excellence with supply chain transparency.
The certifications related to the fibers used are indicated in the description of individual products.
What does "three-ply twisted cotton" mean and what are its characteristics?
The cotton we use, thanks to its three-ply twisted structure, represents one of the highest expressions of excellent spinning, offering a superior balance of fullness, luster, and resistance to wear and pilling.
Unlike standard cotton, where a single thread is used, this three-ply twisted cotton involves the union of three high-quality threads, wrapped around each other with a precise twist.
Furthermore, this cotton is made from 100% Superior Cotton, a choice that guarantees a superior intrinsic quality right from the fiber's origin, passing rigorous tests for colorfastness to light, washing, and rubbing.
Indeed, despite its robustness, the 100% natural composition of the three-ply twisted cotton allows the skin to breathe perfectly, offering ideal thermal comfort for both mid-seasons and summer evenings, ensuring freshness and portability.
Garment Care Guide
How should I wash 100% Cotton garments?
Our garments are made from fine triple-twisted cotton, a process that gives the yarn superior strength and brilliance compared to the norm, but the structure of the knit fabric requires careful treatment to preserve its original shape over time.
Machine Washing: You can use a washing machine with a delicate cycle, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C and a spin cycle not exceeding 600 rpm. It is essential to turn garments inside out before washing.
Detergents: Use neutral detergent. Avoid aggressive fabric softeners or bleaches that could weigh down or damage the natural twist of the fiber.
Drying: Do not use a tumble dryer. Dry the garment flat, away from direct sunlight, to maintain the dimensional stability of the triple twist or with no more than 600 rpm spin.
The artisan's advice: Triple-twisted cotton is renowned for its freshness and longevity, but the knitted construction makes it more elastic than a stable fabric. Washing it carefully ensures that the knit retains its responsive and silky "hand" wash after wash, thanks to its elastic memory.
How can I wash my wool garment to make it last longer?
We recommend washing in lukewarm water (not exceeding 30°C).
Use a neutral detergent specifically for wool.
Use the washing machine's wool program.
Wash the garment inside out.
Do not wring: gently pat with a soft towel to remove excess water or use the spin cycles corresponding to the wool program.
Why do you say your cotton has excellent "elastic memory"?
Unlike common cottons, our triple-twisted cotton has extraordinary elastic memory. Thanks to its three-ply structure, the fibres do not undergo progressive yielding, but tend to naturally return to their original position.
This means that, if washed correctly, your jumper and polo shirt will not lose their shape over time. Wash after wash, the garments regenerate their structure, maintaining that feeling of fresh and responsive knitwear.
Choosing a twisted cotton with this elastic memory means investing in garments that retain their impeccable aesthetics and silky "hand" for years.
How should I store knitwear?
Knitwear should never be hung.
Store garments folded in the wardrobe.
Using hangers could deform the shoulders and silhouette of the product.

Why is my garment in a plastic wrapper inside the cardboard box?
Each product is placed in a special protective wrap before being packed.
This is a choice we made to ensure that your product arrives at its destination in impeccable condition and that the purity of the yarns is preserved: the case acts as a barrier against humidity, dust, and external agents during transport.
This wrap can be reused as a storage bag for seasonal changes, protecting your clothes in the wardrobe for years to come.
